Today is the first day of summer school. He was so excited, such a difference from last year. He seemed confident and sure of himself to stay at school. As I left he waved and said "goodbye Mama, I love you". It broke my heart last year that he seemed unsure to stay and now breaks my heart that he is so sure to stay. I guess the breaking of the heart never goes away.
